Jerry Uwangue appointed Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security
Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has appointed Jerry Uwangue as Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security for Edo State.
The appointment is seen by many as a step in the right direction to foster growth in Edo State in the area of Agriculture and Food Security mobilization, given Jerry Uwangue’s proven expertise in constructions and public financial management.
The young Nigerian have emerged as pillars of inspiration. Jerry Uwangue has become symbols of hope and inspiration for young people across Nigeria. Prior to his appointment, he served as J&G Engineering and Construction Services Ltd CEO and has experience in the procurement industry.
A key priority for the new Commissioner will be the continued transformation of the food and agricultural sector of Edo State.
Mr Okpebholo believes this appointment marks a significant step in strengthening the state’s food and security growth through a more secure and efficient system.
He is an alumni of Southern New Hampshire University.
