Rwanda’s Premier Anastase Murekezi and the Speaker of the Parliament of China, Zhang Dejiang have laid a foundation stone on a site where a six stored structure that will house ministerial offices is set to be constructed in the heart of Kigali city.
The structure will be constructed in Kimihurura sector under Chinese aid, worth $26, 5million as part of the bilateral relations, which was discussed during Dejiang’s two day official visit to Rwanda this week.
Rwanda has a good bilateral relations with the Chinese government and the latter supports Rwandans in the sectors of infrastructure, education and business investments.
Earlier on Dejiang had meetings with the speaker of the Rwandan Parliament, Hon. Donatille Mukabalisa and Bernard Makuza of the Rwandan senate, and visited and paid tribute thousands of genocide victims who are laid to rest of Kigali Genocide Memorial, in Gisozi.
Dejiang, who is also the Chairman of the Standing Committee of The National People’s Congress (NPC), paid a courtesy call to President Paul Kagame, and latter departed for China this Wednesday afternoon, March 23, 2016.
