NPPA wants the investigations be done without his interference and as he is arrested so he cannot escape Rwanda again. In 2004 the then linguistics lecturer at Kigali Institute of Education escaped from Rwanda and sought refuge in the United States where he was later denied citizenship when Rwanda government summoned in 2008 for his arrest because of his accomplice to Genocide. He was extradited by the US to Rwanda earlier this month to be tried for Genocide.

Munyakazi insists that he should be released and report to the court instead of being arrested in toilet when he has two in Rugenge and on his father’s inherited land.
